It is when it's a stupid misrepresentation of what actually happened. They didn't skip over the white people to attack the black man. They attacked a white chick and the black dude stepped up to defend her and got punished for it. Now if Tariq's beef was with the black dude putting himself in harms way to protect that chick, the caption might have made more sense.

That shit aside. Shaming black people for trying to stand up for what is right is wild.

Nah. Those black people are usually a type that won't stand up for OUR issues

I guarantee she won't be at the reparations rally in June, because that only benefits her and its not white liberal approved

At the end of the day we don't owe anybody anything and we're done being foot soldiers and crash dummies for others. We need to prioritize ourselves for the first time in history. Deflecting to tariq captions don't change that

I didn't deflect to a caption. The whole point of the post was to shame black people for standing up for nonblack causes. That's corny.

He could have made the point that we should prioritize our own issues and push our so-called Allies to stand with us for the unpopular shit without acting like that man was wrong for protesting a genocide.
