I hate all inclusive. I prefer to go out and find food
I love em and I try to do 5-7 days and atleast 2 days of excursions and couple days of being out and about. But nothing like being on a beach and somebody bringing me drinks. What you don't like about em

Lots of all inclusives tend to be far from everything because they need private space. I like being in the areas where everything is walkable . Have access to taxi or local transportation. I dont really feel comfortable in driving myself in other countries. You can be in a all inclusive for your whole trip but did you really get to know that foreign land? To me, that is a waste of money. To me.

Some folks just wanna relax and do nothin. Especially if your daily life is hectic.

Shiiiiiiiiieeeettt...I was cool where we was at. The resort we stayed months ago had what I wanted. Walking distance to the beach. Restaurants also walking distance or got driven to by carts.

Now checking out other parts of the country is what the excursions is for. At least for me. Despite gettin my leg scolded by the ATV...that drive thru the country side great. Doin the zipline in the deeper part of the country was cool too.

I get that. That's why I am particular in who I invite on trips. If they staying at the hotel the whole trip, dont even come. Or it just leave them. I have no problem adventuring by myself.

I did an all inclusive at the dr. Did a few excurisons. Still dont know what the island looks like. It would have to depend on where the all inclusive is located. In aruba, it was near the action so it wouldnt mind doing it there on my next go

I go to sight see and parlay I'll get out with the locals but I like to go off the path.
And i tend to like to do it by myself that way I don't have to worry about anybody else. But I got ya though it's folks I know that love cruises and will not go back to a resort.
