Wizards decide to sign center Ian Mahinmi on $64 million deal

Billy King or David Kahn

I heard David Griffin might be up for the Pelicans job. Maybe Kahn would be a good choice but Billy King might need to fall back for a few years with a better run organization and get some tips before going back out and taking a position

Lol come on man why you take that seriously? They both suck

I would see about promoting from within

Washington Wizards executive Tommy Sheppard is someone who the organization nearly hired as their general manager in 2010.

Kevin Arnovitz wrote about why he will be in high demand for a front office position like this opening in Phoenix (via ESPN):

“Long before sports scientists invaded NBA training facilities, Sheppard was one of the first front-office execs to canvass the globe for new ideas to improve performance … Given the breadth of the job these days, finding candidates who are well-rounded generalists isn’t easy. That’s why many league execs feel Sheppard will get snatched up at some point to lead a front office.”

This is from an article when the suns GM got fired

I didn't know if you were serious or not so I tried to respect your opinion. Lol

I think it would be smart for them to maybe look at some of the better run organizations in the league and maybe grab someone who is an up and coming person who works close with the GM, like how the Nets grabbed Sean Mark's from San Antonio. Maybe OKC has a talented young assistant who works close with Sam Presti?
