When that beef was going on I had the Canibus/Nore/DMX freestyle on a mixtape. Then when I first got online I used to download Canibus freestyles from Kazaa. I swore up and down that Canibus was the next one to blow. I thought Canibus was going to drop a 5 mic classic and prove that he was the GOAT.
I thought Canibus was going to blow but he didn't know how to make a hit.
Then LL dropped a few more hits like Luv U Better, Paradise and All I Have and got on NCIS.
Canibus lost a battle to Disaster and joined the army.
Canibus could have created a lane for himself by free styling over other people's beats.
At the end of the day LL Cool J will go down in history.

Yeah when LL went on Mikes podcast I was wondering if they were gonna talk about the battle but it never got bought up to my recollection...
Was quite a good podcast too as LL seemed be pretty knowledgeable about history like Mike...
