This. I've had bad experiences with cops, so like you said I try to keep my interaction to a minimum. "Here's my shit. Do what you got to do. Let me be on my way." Once I adopted that mindset, I haven't had a problem since. I really don't understand people who say they believe the cops are out of control, but then when they have encounters with the cops, they are the first ones to pull shit to escalate situations.
