When BIG’s joint dropped in March or April, it began the BAD BOY takeover of 1997 as Puff and Mase dropped albums also.
I will tell you this though......By the very end of 1997 No Limit Records had taken over the streets and was creeping in to mainstream hip hop.

Wu Tang Forever came out June of ‘97 but Triumph was out having special releases and then they had specials on every TV channels from MYV to CNN when tha album dropped...still got them shits on VHS tape
BIG’s death was tha biggest story in hip-hop tho and his album was selling crazy numbers but he himself couldn’t interview and do press runs...tha Wu was really everywhere
