Honestly both depends on who the cashier is and/or how I'm feeling that day. Sometimes I look at as a blessing and keep it others I look at like these folks drawer don't need to come up short so let me give them the extra back.

Happened to me 2x. I correct them both times. One time at a dispensary and another at a grocery store. I can’t take advantage of someone’s mistake like that. I know if that was me (cashier) I would want someone to show me that same grace.

Keep that shit. One time at Starbucks I bought a coffee with a 20. Was given like 27 bucks in change. Think they meant to give me a 10 but gave me a 20 instead. I just walked off.

If it makes me less of an asshole, I took that extra change and spent it at that Starbucks all week cuz it's just the easiest place to get coffee on my way to work.

Everytime anything like thats happened when faced with a decision my kneejerk reaction is to always do the right thing first and right away.
