So Goldie and I been going back and forth about which of the two eras was better

I say 07-11 is better, Goldie got 12- 16

Vote, post up ya albums and songs, let's settle the debate
 
I'm a start with T-Pain Epipnany.

Reintroduced auto tune. Churned hit after hit after hit. Had the whole culture jock his sound.

Buy a Drank took the snap sound to a whole nother level. Yes it was ringtone rap, but it slapped. Dont deny it

 
After reviewing all the albums that were released during both eras, I agree with Chi, 2007-11 >>>>>>> 2012-16.
 
On the real, it was a good match up

01-06 had a lot of Ringtone rap but it was offset by a lot street records.

Wonder how it matches up with 07-11

Funny thing is right around 2011-2012 is when i started getting sick of and burned out on rap n kinda took a hiatus by listening to other genres.

I always remember it wasnt all that longer after Drake Im on One came out which i think was 2011.
