I was VERY satisfied w hip hop this year.
Nas and Em let me down, but hopefully nas starts 2018 off right for the culture.

If you're asking about musically, it would be Jigga's 4:44 and Kendrick Lamar reading my old post on the IC after he released TPAB and him taking my advice by moving away from the "spoken word/jazz" vibe and taking it back to the hood ala GKMC. The result was DAMN being his 2nd best album to GKMC and the songs being played in hood bbqs and clubs.
