Well personally I think all of those albums that came out on No Limit circa 97/98/99 have aged pretty bad.

They had some bangers, but maybe they just didn't have any quality control.

I kno this is a joke thread but.

Aside from Mac, most of NO LIMIT aged horribly. That shit was jus for the times. Plus alotta that solider shit sounds hella gimmicky now a days. Some of the beats by the pounds beats are still tight, but hearing master p rap over em his horrible. early c murder had a solid flow tho.

And imo alotta the diplomats shit aged horribly. Early solo cam was cool, but the diplomats as a click and their music sounds horrible now.

if we break it down from “region” as listed in the poll and go more by “city” then i’d say Houston or oakland

i understand those movements were/are big in their cities but in the national scale i don’t think it holds up

Every region had different artists within that region so its hard....

The question was who aged THE WORST not more, so for me its ringtone subgenre The South had and influenced...

The ringtone music from artists like Soulja Boy was wack anyways but it aged even worst and sounds even more dated now...

The signature West coast synths are timeless, the signature boombap or grimey East Coast sound is timeless and the soulful Midwest beats and samples are also timeless... The Midwestern areas like Detroit had some boombap going too...

Still, the South has plenty of classics from the 80s to now, its just that ringtone rap was fckn terrible...
