My second fave hip-hop song of all time. I play this song

I pose this question to the likes of @Lab Baby @Englishdude @CeLLar-DooR @5th Letter @Broddie @rip.dilla @BobOblah @VIBE because u guy's love lyrical and straight up rap so much but why not diversify sometimes give something like this a fair chance with an open mind? i know genocide cutter made these type of topics a lot but he was promoting horrorcore rap which is literally the worst type of music on the planet. Only weirdos listen to horrorcore rap that is not even music at all

But this song here and RHQ in general is something u can vibe to chill to even if it's not usually your cup of tea

I have no issues with the responses at all but i do feel they are hypocritical because that is how i feel about Jay-Z, Slaughterhouse, Nas, Canibus, Wu Tang, Scarface, Rakim, Busta Rhymes, J Cole, Kendrick, Brand Nubian, Public Enemy etc music

Yet look at the stick and headache i got on the I.C for simply feeling that way about these MC's music because it ain't for me same way u two saying RHQ's music ain't for u. So that is why i'm saying there is hypocrisy even though i got no issue with the answers u provided

Because I don't try to force feed music to people that I know won't/don't like it. That's the difference.

Iono why yall niggas entertaining her, I blocked that ass soon as I saw her first post in the Revival thread. Don't nobody have time for that bullshyt

There is no such thing as real rap as hip-hop is diverse and always has been

The singing thing these guys like RHQ do isn't even rooted to just Bone Thugs who been around since early 90's it goes even further back then them with Slick Rick and others who been crooning since the late 80's

There has always been non lyrical rappers in hip-hop from the very start. People like MC Hammer, the second highest selling rapper ever 2pac wasn't lyrical

Autotune and all that was from the start too. This is what makes hip-hop what it the diversity in it

I'm still debating whether to take your posts seriously or not

U are just lying to your self if u think hip-hop has always just been lyrical MC's rapping and just rapping only over boom bap beats

If it was just that it wouldn't have got anywhere near as big and dominant as it is now and lasted as long as it has

Here is a song of his with a message/substance uplifting women from the hood. Incase anyone has this false agenda misconception that he just raps/sings about money, drugs, guns, bangin
