What Albums Had High Anticipation and Fumbled?

Its not like it was the soulful, BP or College Dropout Ye beats though, it was more MBDTF sounding... I dont think Nas's style really suits those kinda chilled soulful beats anyways tbh Nas x Ye just sounds great on paper...

Nas sounds best over boombap beats, even 'The Lost Tapes' which were kinda soulful still had that boombap, which is totally different to Ye's best stuff...
 
The album was made in like 1 month while Kanye was also working on 4 other albums.

Who knows how much was actually Kanye and how much was his team he had in Wyoming.

A true Nas Kanye project shoulda took at least a year to build. Not a few weeks.

Best album of the Wyoming sessions was "Ye"
 
All the other projects had fire beats.

Nas was like "Let me hear the 7 worst beats you've ever made"

Nasir never stood a chance with that recording schedule. Despite Watch the Throne being much better even that is still a disappointment given who was involved AND it had more prep time.

..and no one talks about this enough cuz this niggas career basically been over since.
