I came this close to making that mistake in my early 20s. It was after like 9 months and her lease was expiring so it was like why not? Glad I didn't, it's amazing how long a person can keep crazy hidden.
Probably shouldn't move in with each other until you are real close to marriage? idk. You also shouldn't get married because it's a scam.

I'm pretty careful when it comes to shit like that. I don't really have a set time but I read your '9 months seems good' post and immediately felt like that was too soon for me. So if I had to put a number on it, I'd prolly say at LEAST a year.

I've only "moved in" twice. My ex-fiancee and I copped a spot together after about 9 months and a proposal. I maintained my own apt until I proposed to her but was almost always at her spot (I had a roommate).
With my wife it was about the same length of time. I maintained my own spot by myself the whole time until we moved into a condo together. We were married exactly one month later.
I'm not a fan of "moving in" with a chick unless there's a plan to get married.

Quickest for me was a few months. He moved in soon as I signed my lease.
