How many of y'all know about Westside Gunn? Just recently been put on to him and he's all i listen to right now lol. What's your favorite WSG joints?

It's funny when him and Conway started popping all the interviews and freestyles it was just Conway and benny rapping and Gunn just sat as the hype man. For the longest time I thought he just ran the label until he eventually released a mixtape. He ain't bad, but i think out of the trio benny might be the dopest to me, then Conway, then Gunn. Still appreciation thread worthy though. Dope hearing that new grimy new york sound. Reminds me of the good ol days

lol i rank them the complete opposite personally. Gunn has such a unique sound and flow. His verse on Gods Don't Bleed had him on par with Jadakiss.

I been saying for ages that Benny is prolly my favourite active rapper right now, dude always has new music out too whether its his track or a feature, dude is always busy...

Were always posting GxFR or artists their affiliated with them in the underground section...

Who does Benny sound like though??? Dude paints pictures... Westside is the weakest rapper imo but his exec production and hustle/marketing is next level... I think West even has that new type Ghost flow that Action has, hes not that unique, they are all dope though...

Paints pictures? Maybe I need to hear more from Benny. What should I check out? & I don't even like action like that, they not that similar

Where to start, go back and check Benny's albums/mixtapes he has loads of features too... Yeah dude really does paint pictures when he raps, 'I dont write I reminisce'... They are all dope but personally I think Benny is the GOAT atm...

With regards to West, I think his flow/cadence is similar to Action's, just like they both seem to have that Ghostface influence... All 3 (benny, conway and west) are dope though, the GxFR movement has been like a shot vitamins in the arm to the grimey NY sound...
