I dont recall either of these movies particularly well but Bill and Ted was better to me cuz it had the whole time travel/sci-fi vibe to it

I was gonna say something about keanu becoming the bigger star....

But this, then Austin powers, then Shrek....

Mike Myers really blew up too....

But that first bill and Ted was magic

this was the best part of waynes world

everybody has done this... if not to this song, but some song... and that shit was great...

but bill and ted was mad smart...

in total contradiction to everything i said about us,

they put a lot of little easter eggs i bill and ted, that actually makes me appreciate the thought put into a seemingly silly movie....

bcu bill and ted comes off as a silly slapstick comedy, but at the same time shows it's intelligence through small reveals..

kinda like a rick and morty...on the surface it's just a silly cartoon.. but if you even pay a little bit attention, its much more intelligent than that, it just shows it's intelligence through humor...

bill and ted was a lot like that...

where as Peeles movies those easter eggs imo distract from what's actually going on as the movie is more remembered for those easter eggs than the story being told

Ah ok.. I disagree but I can see how you got there.

I made it a point to not actively look for lil easter eggs or hidden meanings when going to see US for the first time. After watching the film it was interesting to see everyones theories though...

I can see how if someone goes in on the first watch trying to peep every hidden meaning and easter egg, how that might take away from just sitting back and enjoying the movie though

this scene was great.. rofl at billy the kid just busting off in a mall for no reason...

they'd have to omit that shit today...

Honestly i cant remember much of anything from either series. I went with Waynes world though. I remember watching Bill and Ted but i was so young i know i didnt fully understand shit that was happening.
