I remember having this debate on the IC about whether the NWA family tree starts with Eazy E or Dre or Cube or anybody else.

This record came out in 87 and has Cube rapping and Dre made the beats. Anyway, I figured I'd post this jpeg. As far as I know this is one of Cube's first records. Actually there's another song he did on Epic Records around the same time but I can't remember the name of the group or song.


And for the record, growing up in Massachusetts, I was heavy into the Hip Hop scene in 1987. I used to stay up and make tapes off the college radio shows but I don't remember C.I.A. Maybe they got played and it didn't make an impression on me but I don't remember it.
