Both of us decline and ride together in coach.

Now if it's an international flight then we rock, paper, scissors for it. Best 2 out of 3. Domestic flights it's usually not that big of a deal unless you're flying across country. If you're 6' (I'm 5'11") and above I can also understand why you would want the 1st class or exit row though
