Production was fire on both sides. Beats By the Pound would kill with the samples and the hook singing with Mo B Dick and Odell. Love the way that they didn't overtly sample but actually played the keyboard, bass, and lead guitar on those songs. Showed their musicianship as producers
Mannie would kill on the improvisation at the end of certain Hot Boys tracks (neighborhood superstar) and the whole 400 Degreez album. Plus Beats by the Pound was like 4 niggas vs one Mannie Fresh who knocked out 8-10 albums with at least 13 tracks on each album.
