Top 5, 10, 50, or 100

Pretty much works like this...somebody names a rapper or an artist and others come to rate them as top 5, 10, 20 or whatever and then provides justification for that ranking historically.

So someone posts "Tupac"

And then I would post:

"Top 1. But top 3 at the minimum...influenced nearly every hip hop artist that came after him. Unparalled charisma. See Me Against The World (probably would post some songs here too)."

So I'll start off: J. Cole

Top 25

very good rapper but is a big dog in a weaker era of rap. Personally he’s overrated because of this. To me, he has no classic album.

The Game

Top 50. Was the face of the west for a few years. He’s had some good albums & some duds. If it wasn’t for The Documentary 2/2.5 & 1992 he would be top 100.

50 Cent.

He's top 50 his first album was a monster and he revolutionized the mixtape. He burnt out after a while he divided New York hip hop, and it hurt his crew.

Top 25 seems a lil high to me for cole. He has 1 real classic album and i can name 10 better rappers just from the south.

Game's a good one. I would go top 40 even tho that may be high for some. Documetary/Doctors Advocate were great albums and he followed then up with some nice ones. (1992 is underrated)
