I think Yukmouth would agree haha tbh though dude was living in Richmond so I dont think he swaggerjacked the sound more so he was influenced by the music around him... Especially as I think he was selling tapes out his car at the time, so the demand in the area would be predominantly for West Coast rap, so being the businessman he was, it makes sense to cater to clientele demands and trends...
Thinking about it, he did kinda hop on the Pac bandwagon style too haha I guess at the end of the day, he is a hustler and his main objective is to move product...
