The Most Feared Song In Jazz, Explained

I been getting more into Jazz recently and realised you need make sure you cop the the right release of the album you want... Mad how the same albums are mastered etc and pressed differently over the years which really effects the sound, its an absolute mission figuring out what version to buy....

Been relaxing to this album last few weeks...

 
I grew up on jazz. I played trumpet from like 10-20

My 16th birthday gifts were Jon faddis into the faddisphere and Winton marsalis standard Time 1-3

I barely listen now, but still appreciate
 
Well, let's not use the term Jazz loosely. I got into Bebop circa 1991 when Tribe Called Quest and Gang Starr started sampling Jazz.

I grew up on classic Jazz as well. If I'm listening to Jazz, that's typically what I'm listening to. I'm not that big on smooth/quiet storm-type shits.









 
Iā€™m a Jazz fan also but what I really like now days is Afro

Iā€™m a huge fan of Fela, Femi, and Seun Kuti. Antibalas is really dope and a group that isnā€™t Afro beat but jazzy that I like a lot is the Budos band.
 
Check out this album guys, little bit different still an great listen... Astrud Gilberto's voice on 'Girl From Ipanema' is hypnotising...
