I think those were legit, at least in my eleven year old mind. I remember buying the VHS from the local liquor store when I was in 7th grade. One scene had the cops posted up outside a house because some dude had his family hostage; he came running out with his gun ready to blaze and the cops nearly had this dude levitating with bullets.

Some of the clips like them eating monkey brains were later revealed to be fake.

Inside the mind of a young jit like me at the time, it appeared to be real. One of the worst scenes I remember was a dude got hit by a car, pinned to a rail, then the car caught on fire. Dude was burned to a crisp.

Bone Thugs had the audio from one scene on one of they albums too.
