im midway through vol 2. There are a couple of songs that might get a second listen
but this sounds kinda dated
like he had these in the stash at some point, probably went back and changed something here and there, and released them as they are now
im a HUGE dream fan, but this is a chore to get through..sounds uninspired af

not sure how many songs total the "love" series has, but i can EASILY play all of those one after the other and not feel like im struggling to get through it
this one...idk man...even if its just a soundtrack to fucking, there seems to be little variety in his approach to the songs. At one point, i didnt even realize the songs changed. I know he's done similar sections in a project before, but those seem to happen so effortlessly
idk man....i'ma finish this up in a couple of days to see if my thoughts change

I gotta check this out b/c I phux wit Dream's music heavy.
He was on Big Tigger's radio show here in Atlanta last week and previewed/played a few songs live on air. I liked all of them although they didn't have that signature "Dream/Tricky Stewart production sound" which I would definitely hope there's some of that magic on this album.
