I liked Boyce Watkins, but before the Charles Wu thing, he wasn't focusing on finance as he should be, but the last straw the broke the camel's back was when Charles Wu stated that HE created the program, bad mouthed the product, and stated that he was selling black people "religion" and "hopes & dreams". He said Boyce is his character and pitch man. He disrespected him and didn't even refer to him as a doctor. Maybe were REALLY upset because people begged him to drop Charles Wu to save face and he didn't do it. He's a spineless coward and I lost all respect for him. Well like I said...I had to do my research and read a lot/listened an I learned something new.
Let me ask you, why didn't you post this up before?

I just happened on the books and thought they were a good idea. I still think they are good ideasbut I understand your point and stand corrected.

i agree with them both and i disagree with them both as well.

imma use a few of these videos in my next thread.

we really need to look inward to solve alot of these problems.
we are looking for outward solutions to inward problems.

but for the most part....emotional marketing is something everyone does.
Mr wonderful...the guy from the shark tank with the big nose......the reason i dont like him is because he makes deals off of peoples emotion.
watch shark tank and he will always be the last one...that way he can add pressure to the person to make a shitty deal.
his claim to fame was similar to these childrens books. he was selling hope to people. he said his product will make your kids smarter. and he often brags about it.
why is he look at like a genius?

i understand peoples hurt because its one of our own that did it to us under the direction of a chink. but we hurt us just like others hurt us. and why do we hold each other to higher standard in order to support yet still support those that dont like us?

its interesting that of all people @Black Caesar you pointed this out.....simply because....this is kinda the same thing i was saying about lavar ball. he is doing the same damn thing.

so once i thought about it....i had to leave the thread the way it is.
we are all being hustled by someone....and dudes like this make it hard for people like me who want to help out of their own pocket and ask for nothing in return but for people to get ahead.

another example of emotional marketing is a show called "the Profit"
dude is a straight up con artist and plays to people emotion in losing their business and he promises his connections and making them successful...but look at the deals he gives them.
his angle is if he has apart of it..hes going to try harder than a consultant.
he comes in ..does a little and has apart of a company and really doesnt do shit but offer connections,

and this same guy is going back and forth to puerto rico after the hurricane.....doing guess what?
visiting businesses.
those businesses are losing money because no one has money.....so what he can promise?
rebuilding for the future.

its all a game. you just have to see where you fit in.

You did give me an idea though. I need to make a thread about the enemies within our community. Those who need to be exposed like Kayne West, Roland Martin and others.

The reason why we're so easy to manipulate is that fact that most of us have a white supremacist on their shoulders. In other words some of us want acceptance, and feel validated when a white person gives us praise. Some of us don't try to forge our own destinies and rather have them dictate our purpose.
