I had a video show on my community access channel when I lived in Massachusetts. I had to send in demo tapes and a list of all the videos I was playing. But once I got the ball rolling they'd send me more videos than I knew what to do with. They sent me the video to Ridin Spinners and quite frankly it was the first song I'd ever heard from them. I played the video on my show several weeks in a row.


For the record, every city/town/county has a community access station and the people that live in the municipality can produce their own content.

If you're bored you can make a video show and the community access station has to play it. You have to be a member first and they'll tell you what to do to make your own show.

If I did hear those songs, I didn't know it was by Three Six Mafia.

I'd probably seen their ads in The Source and probably saw their videos on MTV/BET without paying attention to who they were.
