Description
At a school in the sky where teens learn how to be superheroes, Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano) lands in a class for students who show special promise. Classmate Gwen (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) quickly cozies up to Will, but it's soon clear that she has other motives. When he learns that Gwen's mother is a villain who was defeated by his father, Steve Stronghold (Kurt Russell), Will realizes that Gwen is aiming for revenge, and he rushes to a school dance in the hope of stopping her.

Sitting here before work watching this before work with my kids. I think it surprisingly holds up well, cheesy costumes and bad cgi aside. I think if they put a real budget behind this, brought the cast back (aside from the black kid, I believe he’s in prison) I think this would do well. Not sure why it didn’t do well when it was in theaters. It’s a good family movie.

there was supposed to be a sequel but got cancelled because of the box office performance. It was supposed to be called Save U (Save University) showing them going to college. I think that could still work as a series. Worst movies have gotten sequels and series spin-offs
