OUT NOW SilverfoxxETO- ego (Album)

Kanye once described Dilla's beats as "good pussy". This is what I imagine Zendaya's must feel like. Fire as usual... feels like a religious experience of a recovering narcissist.

LMAO much respect Lab, you been rocking with me since the IC so I appreciate the support. My apologies for not mentioning it man. And for sure this project meant alot to me. My next project I'm actually investing alot into because I believe it's one of my better ones but ego was created when I was in a dark place man.

Btw @Lab Baby very impressive how spot on you are with explaining the album. Efficent and precise.
Thanks. I've been studying narcissism lately... the title, the different drum/sound changes and especially the Kirk Franklin sample put two and two together for me. Speaking of which, fire sample choice. It feels like that was the center piece to the whole project. My hot take on that as it relates to the project: A lot of ppl quickly jumped on the son in that situation. Ppl don't realize how much damage a parent can do to an adult child's pride, especially a father to a son. At the end of the day, that's still your child. Being from a broken home and recently going thru some family issues, I see myself walking in a cold dark city looking for answers that my "ego" is blinding me from... an ego created by a broken family system that I have the responsibility of fixing both outside and within. That's my personal experience, but your music has always had that calming abstraction to where any walk of life can have a spiritual experience if they open up to it. Anyone dealing with ego issues right now (I'm pretty sure a time period of worldwide forced isolation will deal out its fair share of those) will definitely have a trip with this joint.

Humbling response brother. My whole purpose on creating was basically what this message conveys. Using sounds, and samples without being blessed to sing or rap is honestly a safe haven for my forms of expression, of how I see the world, personal issues I'm going through, and things I'm passionate about.

ego is a very personal project to me, outside of the cover, this project has been baking for years. The concept of balance with life of things our parents and society deem mandatory for opportunities and relationships has ironically been the downfall on nearly every horrible thing to occur in all aspects of life. Too much confidence or power, and it corrupts decisions, choices, and healing. That's why songs like grey convey a gray/grey area of life of nuance, or balance especially in the current society of choosing sides I really wanted to drive home the point of imbalance "positive" attributes that has continue to harm us all and done damage to many folks struggling with their mental health where the Ego plays a heavy hand in.

Your experiences and what you share is certainly not under valued, and I TRULY appreciate you for sharing that fam because I have dealt with the same issues during isolations and with folks in my life as well as my ego.

It's a privilege for you to feel "anything" to my music and the fact that it connects means the world man. Spiritual connection to music is my main purpose for creating. I pray whatever journey you on fam, that you find tranquility. Much respect.

I don’t know how you crank so many these out. I definitely dig the element of spirituality laced up in these. Interesting sound choices. Congrats
again on another one! 🎉🍾
