I been saying for months some artists dropped the ball on not just doing collab albums during covid.
1. No touring eliminates one of the downsides artists say come with collab projects which is not being able to tour it.
2. They also have time to sit down and create a project together rather than just emailing songs back and forth.

Shit is basically a cheat code to bide time to drop your solo project once some normalcy comes back.
