There's a deeper situation to this. The owner is Israeli and the restaurant is in Crown Heights. The Israelis - specifically Hasids - have been trying to claim CH for mad long even though it's historically a mostly black neighborhood. Nowadays the hood is gentrifying and they want all parts of it fast and anything that even looks remotely like the hood they want gone.

That shop owner don’t care about Sean Price and I’m sure his patrons don’t either...that Brooklyn neighborhood is nuttin’ like tha BK neighborhoods anybody from tha pre-2010ish BK would know

Lol the people who rock wit Sean p would prolly never go in this restaurant anyway so its wouldnt disturb anything. Bk been gentrified, The streets are done.

Just because BK has been gentrified doesnt mean that fans of hip hop or people who just rock with Sean P for a variety of reasons wouldnt come there though.... Its still not good publicity for the restaurant...

Going from the orginal statement, it never claimed the restrauant owners actually owned the building with the mural on... I thought they just wanted/requested the owner of said building to paint over it...
