Sarah Palin’s Son, Track, Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges Again
Track Palin, the eldest son of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has been arrested on domestic violence charges. Alaska State Troopers say Palin “assaulted an acquaintance at his residence” on Friday night and tried to block her from calling police by taking her phone away, according to records of Alaska’s Department of Public Safety. Palin is said to have also “physically resisted troopers” when they placed him under arrest, leaving him with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct charges in addition to charges of domestic violence and interfering with the report of domestic violence. No details were available on the identity of the acquaintance mentioned in the report. Palin, a 29-year-old Army veteran, was arrested on similar charges in 2016, followed by another assault case involving his father in 2017. He is being held without bail at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) - Alaska State Troopers say 29-year-old Track Palin, son of former Gov. Sarah Palin, was arrested Friday night on domestic violence charges.
Palin appeared in court in Palmer Saturday, facing four charges including fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest. He said he was "not guilty, for sure" to the four charges.
Palin faces three Class A misdemeanors that allow for up to a year behind bars and a $25,000 fine. He also faces a Class B misdemeanor that allows up to one day in jail and $2,000 fine.
Troopers say they responded to reports of a disturbance just after 10:30 p.m. Friday.
According to an online dispatch, an investigation by AST revealed that Palin had assaulted a female acquaintance at his home. "When the acquaintance attempted to call authorities, he prevented her by taking away her phone."
Troopers say while being arrested, Palin physically resisted them. In court, Palin questioned why he faced that charge when there were five troopers.
Palin is being remanded in Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. He is being held on a $500 unsecured bond but will need to be on a pretrial ankle bracelet if released.
He is told to stay away from the alleged victim's home and place of work and only have written contact with her. The judge ordered that he is not allowed to have any deadly weapons.
In December of 2017, Palin was taken into custody and charged with breaking into his family home and assaulting his father. The case is currently before Veteran's Court.
In 2016, Palin faced domestic violence charges for allegedly assaulting his then girlfriend.
