OUT NOW Resident Evil 4 Remake

Capcom has really been knocking these remakes out of the park and now they are going to take a lot of people’s favorite one and give it that same treatment. This will probably be great

The thing is….


Resident Evil 4 ain’t really even a resident evil game for real; it marked the beginning of the downfall of the series yet people say it’s their favorite resident evil. It’s not a survivor horror game at all. It’s an action game.

I played it all the way thru about 2 months ago and my goodness that game made me want to finish it just to get it over with. So many areas drag on for too long and the escort shit with Ashley is annoying.


I say all that to say this; I’m hype for this remake. Hopefully Capcom used the best parts of the game and toned up the survivor horror elements.

Well yeah 4 was the beginning of it going away from survival horror and paved the way for shitty games with 5 and 6 and that awfull raccoon city game as well

As you know, it wasn’t until 7 did RE start to get back to being a good franchise

If I’m judging based on the remakes of 2 and 3 this is gonna be great

Like you said at the end I think that’s exactly what they are gonna do with 4

I’ve enjoyed the fuck outta the remakes. RE2 is the gold standard.

Before I told you that I just held my own talking about RE in general and if I can do that that means its enough lol

I know it’s not all zombies but zombies just not my shit

Scary movies suck for the most part

Playing a game with my neck hair standing up every 5 secs not worth it though lol

5 and 6 were so far away from the rest I was wondering how you would even remake those

And if it was even worth remaking..

I do think 5 was a missed opportunity potentially but idk if it’s worth it since 5 is probably the least memorable out of the series (but I’m thinking that’s why you would remake it)

6 was the one that almost killed the franchise

Nah 6 was worse lol

That game is legendary for how bad and far away from resident evil it is

I’m saying 5 was way less memorable but it has more potential to turn into a better game with a remake than 6
 
6 was a buggy action co-op mess with QTEs littered throughout the game (which made for some funny shitty moments when you missed them)

5 I just know the zombies were black and the game sucked lol

I remember nothing from that game
