1990 was pretty weak. 92-04 was the real golden era :sup:

I see 2 classics and only 1 that still sounds dope in 2018.
I just grabbed a few 1990 albums off the web......Personally, I could play Cube, Above The Law, and Tribe’s albums front to back without skipping a song. I could do that today and appreciate them like I was still in 1990. The other two albums have more than one classic track on each.

It's a classic due to it's impact and influence, but it sounds dated af in 2018 imo
Terminology will always change as we age, but the subject matter typically remains consistent as time moves on.

Example...

Although we now store numbers in our cell phones instead of writing them down on a small piece of paper, the following song was true in 1990 and it’s still true in 2018:
