I halfway wanna skip the rest of the tournament and just give the W to Fight The Power. 89 was weak af.
 
It's impossible for Fight The Power to lose this tournament. When middle aged White people think about 1989, they picture this video.

And thats just White people.

89 wasn't that bad. The first half of the year were the residual effects of 1988 (2nd, 3rd and 4th singles from albums that came out in 88)

It just seemed like a disapointment compared to 88.

Its like comparing 95 to 96. 95 was waaaaaay better.

wait, what??? At least is "The D.O.C. and the Doctor" in there??? If not this whole shit is a sham. The DOC easily had three of the top 5 singles in '89.
