Fargo was great...as a movie. I thought the show was good, but a little overrated. New York Undercover is before my time. From what I've seen, Malik Yoba's acting is suspect at best, but I can't speak to the story as a whole. A tie.
 
How does Fargo work as a series?

Does it use same story as the movie or just same setting?

Are Coen bros involved?
 
It was actually pretty good...i just kept forgetting to catch up cuz it was weekly... If it's ever on Netflix I'm knocking it out

It's an anthology every season is different. The first season was an expansion of the movie. Think the coen brothers are producers.

That shit between Malik Yobaā€™s character and Ice T was some intense tv for the time. One of the Goat series till they changed up the lineup and killed off old boy
