Lol Hot 97 used to play it back then. 50 was regional in 99.

yea i'm from bmore....they ain't play 50. i was in philly from 2000-2002...and i ain't hear him on the radio then either.....
but...
i do remember 50 on onyx react.. but i wasn't that hyped about the verse....
i had no idea who the "i'm all about a dollar who the fuck is 50 cent" line was about till later, i just thought it was some cool shit to say
i had one homeboy from Brooklyn who used to wear the g-unit vests in like 2002
2003 when he got big, i still hadn't heard any early shit.. in fact i ain't really like 50 at first....i thought he was overrated....
but the album grew on me, then i started listening to his older shit...
