I'm the one that nominated bout it bout it, and just for the record, i specifically posted the one on the TRU album because that is the one that came out in 95. The one with mia x came out in 1996, and is technically called "i'm bout it bout it 2."
Im going to be nominating that one when we get to 1996 goat songs.

Mia X was on both versions of it. Tru's album True had Mia on it. And on Ice Cream Man it was I'm Bout It II with Mia too.

Damn i coulda sworn i heard a version without her for months before i heard a version with her... But I'm from nyc do i coulda got shit all fucked up.

I never actually heard tru true. Ice cream man is the first no limit album i heard, and it was off the strength of bout it bout it, which i originally clowned with my boys, at first,b but then eventually grew to love it
