Starburst.

I still lol @ my coworkers mistakenly choosing the spicy starbursts, and realizing the mistake they made until AFTER they ate it.

Dafuq are spicy startburts fam?! Spicy like ā€œhot sauceā€ flavored??

:wdf2:

They made spicy flavors like black cherry spicy and etc. I just happened to see them one day in the store, and decided to get them. Then I mixed them together wit all the other ones I had in my candy jar.

Only way you could tell which is which is if you was paying attention to the wrapper. The spicy ones had a pic of a flame, but was wrapped in the color of the flavor. So of course they didn't pay any attention when they reached in the jar.

The expressions on their faces...priceless.

Sounds better than hot sauce flavored but still gross lol

Me to. I was the first to introduce this candy to my friends.

I was that one friend who always had that extra quarter. which allowed me to upgrade my snack game.

Me too lol. I kept an extra quarter on me. I was probably one of the only students that was on paid lunch.

We was some richt kids T. Are you stiil balling these days?

Yeah, I'm doing good these days. I'm not wealthy or nothing. Well not yet lol but still doing good, nonetheless. Thankfully, I was blessed by the Most High. I could've followed down the same rabbit hole with a lot of my peers but glad I didn't.

What?! How much did you sell them for?

Back then you could buy a whole pack for 20 cents or a quarter depending on where you went. Break that down into the individual flavors and sell 'em for a dime each. Since it was against the rules to even have candy in school the few cats sellin it had complete control over pricing, so I'd cop 4 or 5 packs on the way in, break 'em down and I'd be done sellin all of 'em before lunch. Shit was enough to keep ice cream sandwiches and extra bags of fries on my tray at lunch time and a few dollars in my pocket by Friday.

Any of y'all remember Jingles tho? They were like mini Now and Laters, cost about a nickel for a pack and the passion fruit flavor was like genuine crack.
