It do. I remember in middle school, the bus driver used to sell them and all the kids was eating them. They breath was terrible.

Lmaooooo I tell my students it makes them act good. Then I give them one and they behave!!!
 
if you low on energy and pop a pack of smarties you will get an energy boost. back when i would do doubles i would keep them on deck
