The opening is the best part
 
It's good.

The shots are amazing.
Hype Williams did his thing.

The plot, acting, and dialogue was horrendous.

However, DMX, meth, and Tyrin Turner were hilarious.

Taral Hicks was gorgeous. It has good nostalgic replay value.
 
I think they really tried to get Farrakhan for Chavis role at the end, but he turned it down.

X was on the Breakfast Club, if I'm not mistaken, talking about how there really was going to be a real follow up to Belly. I gotta find that interview again just for old times sake. I wanna say it was the Breakfast Club. Describing the opening scenes. RIP to X.
 
It’s a hood classic. Not a great movie by any means & after you become an adult you start to poke the major plot holes in that story. Like why is Nas character just goes along with shit lol. I was totally expecting him and DMX to try and kill each other in a gunfight and it never happened.
