On November 6, 2021, Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was allegedly part of an argument in the Hollywood area in Los Angeles that resulted in Rocky allegedly firing a gun at a victim, who sustained minor injuries, the LAPD said.

Rocky was returning from a trip to Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna Wednesday when he was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department with assistance from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team, according to NBC News.

Law enforcement sources told NBC News the victim said that Rocky approached him on the street with a handgun and shot at him three to four times, and one of the bullets grazed the victim’s left hand.

The shooting was not previously reported in the media, according to NBC.
