*shrugs* Iowa (mostly Caitlin) was the one drawing ratings. This ain't the WH visit. Getting on SNL doesn't have anything to do with who wins or loses. It's about who will bring the most viewers. Like it or not, more people would tune in to watch SNL with Iowa than SC. It is what it is. White people are still a plurality in this country and more of them are interested in waching a bunch of Beckies be goofy and tell corny jokes.

SC won the championship. Some people believe they are the ones that should be rewarded with appearances like this. I get where they are coming from, but I think those gripes are misguided in this case.

I guess my point is it’s not like they made it a big thing to invite her to NYC for it…. She just happened to be in NYC and they made it happen
