Thing is they understand that and don't care fact is he didn't have to do it, it was a noble gesture props to him for it because it also brought irrefutable clarity... to the dummies but they know these people hold fast ro lies and that hate runs deep so they just keep pressing up the lies like crabby pattiesWhat idiots like Trump, OJ and the rest of them don't understand is that Colin spoke with a vet right before the first time he did it. He was going to sit during the national anthem, and did just that in a pre-season game, but after speaking with dude he was told that soldiers kneel as a sign of respect for their fallen comrades, so that's what he started doing.
See.. all these niggas tryin to big up OJ just fumbling over yaself with the bullshit. He’s a murder and a coon. Simple and plain.
OJ took the fall for his oldest son.
Ironically, OJ is right.........but he's right for the wrong reasons.
Meaning, he's not right for the reasons he says he is.
Colin made a mistake in the sense of not anticipating that the narrative would be changed to focus on the flag instead of police brutality.
Colin also made a mistake in not realizing that his career would be ruined by taking the stand that he did.
Same thing happened to Craig Hodges and Chris Jackson.........aka Mahmoud Abdul Rauf.
We already know that they’re good at directing the narrative and focusing the attention away from the real issue. And Kaepernick was aware that by doing what he did that he’d potentially get blackballed by the league.Ironically, OJ is right.........but he's right for the wrong reasons.

Who cares what OJ thinks
Ummm...but no one predicted Trump was gonna hijack the narrative and make it about the flag.
And I'm pretty sure he was prepared the kinda backlash he was gonna receive. Which is why he stood his ground.

That's why I said Kap made a mistake by not anticipating that the narrative was gonna be changed.
As soon as he realized that, he should've relayed the story about the veteran who told him that they kneel as a sign of respect for their fallen comrades.
Better yet, reach out to the veteran and have him speak out on his behalf.
Also, even though he may have expected some backlash........I don't think he had any idea that he'd be out of the NFL altogether.
Interesting how that vet did not go all in to defend Kap. He did a couple interview, but if you see the narrative purposely changing in the wrong direction, wouldn't you be out trying to correct It?
It's like he left him hanging
True.
'Makes me wonder if him and the vet were ever really on the same page to begin with.
Seems like Kap saw things one way......and the vet saw things another way.
When the vet told him about soldiers kneeling to show respect, the one thing Kap didn't take into account was the fact that he's not a soldier..........only the vet is.
Maybe the vet was afraid that some of his fellow veterans might call him out for leading Kap to believe that it would be ok for him.........a non-veteran..........to participate in rituals that are reserved for members of the military.
Come to think of it, Kap must've had some idea that the narrative would be changed to focus on the miltary.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have seen any reason to consult with a veteran before he did what he did.
