I'd assume recently, especially since his caption says recorded at his house.Wonder when these were recorded? Like recently before he passed or would it be like during some earlier years of his first two albums. X had better cohesiveness with Grease than Swizz IMO.
I assume he'd have to give them to Def Jam anyway. If they were recorded while he was signed to Def Jam then they could possibly own the rights to them. Why give the masters to Def Jam & not his kids? Lol.
could be a nice lil October/November release. Especially if the music is basically done. Don't know how long or big his Def Jam deal was but I'm sure they'd still like to make some money. They just released Exodus. This ain't coming out anytime soon.

Agreed.
Dame and P Killer were far nicer with X's sound than Swizz.
Probably a good reason why Swizz didn't reach out to producers that use to be in the production circle back in the day. I don't blame him still.
Swizz and Dame are still beefing, no?
