You are allowed to stand your ground in Florida. If you thought dude was running to get a weapon and return, you can chase and shoot.

In general if someone runs away you can't chase them. However, i think that is allowed in a stand your ground state. I'm not 100% positive tho.

I do know for certain if this was nyc, you would be tried for manslaughter if you chase someone down to shoot em, even if they killed one of your boys. Once they run away, you can't shoot.
