Hey guys, I’m here to start a thread series that focuses on the players who came into the league with expectations and didn’t really pan out for whatever reason and players who were drafted at really high position and that player hasn’t amounted to anything

Today we are focusing on:

Dragan Bender

• Drafted with the 4th Pick in the 2016 NBA Draft
• Averaging 5.4 points, 3.9 Rebounds and 32% from three in his career

I do think he still has what it takes to be a quality player for a team that can utilize his skill set well but I don’t think there will be anyway to justify his draft position at this point. Suns really should’ve gave him ample minutes though.

He's only 22. And he's been doing well in the little bit of time he's had in golden state. He'll be aight.

2 years he'll be in a rotation somewhere.

I agree with the above statement.

He is still young but I think it's going to take the right team and role for him to stick around in the NBA
