shes with the right label .. irv knows what he gotta do .
Irv is one of the best A&R's and execs in hip hop history... He saved Def Jam and brought them back from the brink and obviously did wonders with Murder Inc... His achievements are mad underrated... Abit like Suge he choose to try be too gangsta for his own good (and beef with 50 lol)...

i really wished they give him the Def Jam President position he would done great. People need to give Irv & Ja they flowers they had a great run. But ya your right with him & suge the egos got too big .
Yeah man, especially Irv... Hes really created superstars and made great music...
I agree he would have been a great president at Def Jam... He knew all sides of the business too, he ran a big label, hes been a DJ, producer, exec, A&R etc and clearly had a great ear for talent... It should had been a no brainer, especially as had previously saved them!!! lol
Then again, choosing to ally himself with Preme was a very poor decision that made no sense, other than try to give himself street cred and thinking it would help him fight 50... It ultimately led to him and destroying his empire... I think Even Irv's brother, Chris told him it wasnt a good idea to begin with...
