Maywood could have won with R. Kelly if he didnt select Public Announcement especially if we talking best song of his from the 90s. And as for best voice I would have used Trust Issues/What I Feel.

At least Mooney rated it objectively tho, other folk would have prolly DQ'd Maywood. I find it interesting nobody said Kels first, goes to show you the influence of media.

Naw I just dont feel comfy listening to his stuff anymore for real

For me the context of the songs just change now that we know what we know

Im def not knocking the next man for still listening to Kelz cause he makes incredible music....

just for ME personally I cant do it

And BDP is my nigga in this world and the next but he could have crushed the buildings with Keith Sweat.

Should have used
- Slow Is The Way with Ron Isley and Kut Klose

I surprised I didn't see Make It Last Forever for best 90s song, that song is a staple at black weddings and cookouts. Or even The Right And Wrong Way. Don't stop Your Love, maaaaaaaannnnnnn I could go on for days....

those songs came out in the 80s on his first album

thats what I had in mind then I saw 87' LMAO
