The teen’s mother spotted the videos in September and told investigators—who later uncovered nearly 60 pornographic videos of the missing 15-year-old on Periscope, Pornhub, Modelhub, Snapchat and other websites, according to an arrest report obtained by The South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Christopher Johnson, 30, is now facing one count of lewd and lascivious battery on a child under the age of 16 after authorities say they found him with the teen.
In the videos, the teen “is either fully nude (or) topless in all videos and performs oral sex and sexual intercourse in at least two of the videos,” Det. Adam Granit said in the report, according to WPLG.
But the videos also offered a clue about the teen’s whereabouts. Some of the videos allegedly featured a bald man who had been seen with the teen in February at an area convenience store.
A clerk working at the 7-11 at the time had known the family and contacted police to report that the teen had been in the store with two men, WTVJ reports. The clerk was also able to get a description of the vehicle—a black Dodge Challenger—but had been unable to get the car’s license plate number.
After the victim’s mother discovered the illicit videos, another witness saw the same Challenger at a different 7-11 in Davie. Police were able to track the vehicle’s tag to Johnson’s home.
Police pulled Johnson over on Tuesday after investigators saw him leaving his apartment with the missing teen, the local paper reports.
