It follows Talcott Garland, an esteemed law professor whose quiet life is shattered when his father, Judge Oliver Garland, dies of an apparent heart attack. Forest Whitaker deserves an Emmy nomination for his performance in episode 8 of The Emperor of Ocean Park. It was filled with raw emotion, coldness and Machiavellian like moves. My family and i were extremely impressed.
