Ain't nobody popping in anchorage. We had joker the bailbondsman back in 2004. Was on BET uncut and had that song money in a ziploc bag with bizzy bone. He got arrested for selling crack though. He's been out of jail for awhile, but he doesn't release music like he used to. Still has some songs, but for the most part I think he started his own studio and kind of oversees folks who use it. He does local events too, hosted a rap battle event about a year ago, but it was shitty. Mainly the crowds fault though.
 


This song is old but sh** was popping back then. This song go way back to high school days. When my nigga Peanut drop his debut album with this being the lead single. I think Baby D came to the city & performed this song along with him at the Jamboree in 02'. Also back when Bun B was in his prime. That nigga killed it.
 
these some of the youngins that are coming up . Rumor was that meek millz was gonna sign robin banks but he got shot 9 times left paralyzed

Wouldn't say these dudes are anywhere near the best rappers but they get a lot of love in the city. Detroit love hood music.

Honestly Detroit local rap scene is flooded right now it's hard to keep up with all the artist.
 
This is our new buzzing artist. Tayy Tarantino. Dunno how I feel about his music, but I enjoy this song the most.
